See modelsHow do you show a facial before someone books it?
At a beauty and skincare clinic, people book once they can picture the visit: the texture of the products, the treatment bed, the kind of device and how each step feels. Useful photos stay close: a drop of serum falling from a dropper, a cocoa scrub in a white dish, a brush spreading a mask, folded towels beside the bed. That lets a client torn between a deep-cleansing facial and a chemical peel see what each involves, without relying on before-and-after shots.
Matching images to treatments
- Treatment menu: One square image per service built around its signature element: clay mask in a bowl, jade roller, radiofrequency handpiece. Clients spot the treatment before reading the description.
- Online booking page: A prepared treatment room with soft light, so the person scheduling knows the space they'll walk into.
- Instagram Stories: Vertical 9:16 sequences of hands applying product step by step to walk followers through a facial routine.
- Retail shelf or online shop: Jars, creams and serums on light surfaces with the texture visible, for the products you sell at the front desk.
- Gift cards: A still life of towels, oils and candles to dress up a gift card or spa package.
What to watch for in skincare photos
- Never present stock images as results. Before-and-after photos should come from your own clients, with written consent.
- If you don't offer lasers or radiofrequency, keep those devices out of your images so expectations match your menu.
- Look at the skin shown in each photo. A range of real tones and textures tells readers you treat every skin type.
- Make sure no visible jars carry readable labels from other brands, especially if you sell your own line.
