Matching photos to your store's pages

• Product pages: The whole piece on a neutral background in 3:2, plus a material close-up, so shape and finish sit on the same listing.
• Room collections: Dining, bedroom, home office: one styled scene per page, with dimensions in the copy so buyers can measure against their space.
• Workshop page: Hands sanding, carving or upholstering, for makers of custom pieces who want to show the process.
• Pinterest and Instagram: Decorated corners in 4:5 or vertical, with the furniture front and center and few props around it.
• Plan your visit: An aisle of the showroom floor for the page with your address and hours.

Selling furniture with pictures

• On each product page, show the exact model you sell. A similar room scene can inspire, but buyers order what the listing shows.
• Describe the true fabric or wood color, since warm lighting in lifestyle shots shifts tones and leads to returns.
• If your line is laminate or particleboard, don't illustrate it with hand-carved solid wood.
• For custom work, make clear that a styled scene is a style reference, not a piece delivered to a customer.
