See modelsHow do you show a PT clinic without making it look like a hospital?
Most people arrive at physical therapy in pain and unsure what to expect: will it hurt, what equipment gets used, how long does an evaluation take. Useful photos show a treatment table set to the right height, ultrasound gel and the transducer, a posture assessment against a grid, hands working on a shoulder or knee, and the exercise area with bands and stability balls. These scenes explain the treatment and take some of the mystery out of the first visit.
Photos for each part of your clinic's website
- Homepage: A tidy treatment room with natural light in 16:9, with room to name your specialty: sports, neuro, or pelvic floor.
- Treatment pages: One image per technique (ultrasound, taping, manual therapy, band exercises) so patients recognize what will happen in the room.
- First visit page: The posture assessment or a muscle chart being explained, next to notes on what to wear and what to bring.
- Home exercise posts: Hands guiding a knee or ankle through a stretch, in 4:5, alongside routines people can do between sessions.
- Booking messages: A calm shot of the waiting area or a prepared table, as the image for your booking link or welcome message.
Things to check in PT photos
- Make sure technique and positioning are correct; another clinician who spots a sloppy hold will question your judgment.
- Don't pair an injury topic with an image that implies a specific recovery time; photos show the process, not an outcome.
- If you do house calls, choose portable tables and living-room settings over a fully equipped gym you can't bring along.
- The person on the table is a model, not your patient, so keep the image apart from any case story or review.
