Good to know before you pay
- Renewal
- The monthly plan renews every month and the yearly plan every year, automatically.
- Cancel
- Anytime, from the customer portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and you won’t be charged again.
- Refunds
- If you haven’t downloaded any 4K photo, you get your money back within 14 days of your first payment. Once you download a 4K photo there’s no refund, because it has been delivered. Renewals aren’t refunded. A charge made in error (a double charge, say) is always refunded.
- What you’ve downloaded
- It’s yours to keep using even if you cancel, under the same license as the free photos (commercial use, no credit needed, no reselling the photos as is).
- Monthly limit
- Pro: 100 4K photos a month, on both the monthly and the yearly plan, downloaded one at a time from each photo (Pro has no batch or whole-category downloads). Agency: 400 a month, one at a time or in batches. The count resets on the 1st of each month (00:00 UTC) and unused downloads don’t roll over.
- Batch download (Agency)
- From each industry page you download its 4K photos as a ZIP, in batches of up to 100. Every photo in the ZIP counts toward your 400 for the month; if you have fewer left, the ZIP includes only the ones that fit and we tell you first. Photos you already downloaded that month aren’t charged again.
- Your key
- Pro: it’s for you or your business, not for sharing. Agency: your team can use it, within your agency. If we see unusual use, we may disable it.
- Tax and invoice
- Prices are in US dollars. If VAT or sales tax applies in your country, it’s added at checkout and shown on your invoice.
Payment is processed by Gumroad, our authorized reseller: it issues your invoice and handles the taxes. To cancel, switch plans, see your invoices or recover your key, go to the customer portal with the email you paid with. Full details in the purchase terms.
Pro and Agency plan questions
What is the license key?
A code emailed to you as soon as you pay. Paste it once on this page and your browser remembers it. On another computer or your phone, paste it there too.
Why 4K if the free photo already looks good?
The free photo is made for the web and social media. The 4K version has about 10 times as many pixels: it’s for print (flyers, banners, menus, storefronts), large screens and cropping in on a detail without pixelation.
How are the 4K versions made?
Each photo is upscaled to 3840 px with an AI model that rebuilds fine detail (super-resolution). It’s the same image, with far more definition.
Monthly or yearly?
For a one-off project, go monthly: use it and cancel. If you post often or work for clients, the yearly plan comes to US$4 a month: you save 20%. Both include 100 4K photos a month.
Can I use the 4K photos for my clients?
Yes, in the work you do for them (their website, ads, print). What you can’t do is sell, give away or distribute the photos as is, or upload them to another stock library.
Pro or Agency?
Pro (US$5 a month) is for one business: 100 4K photos a month, one at a time. Agency (US$19.99 a month) is for those who work for many clients: 400 4K photos a month, whole-industry ZIP downloads and one key for your whole team.
How does batch download work?
Agency plan only. Each industry page shows “Download the industry in 4K”: you get a ZIP with up to 100 photos; large industries come in batches. Before downloading we tell you how many photos it uses and how many you have left. Each photo counts toward your 400 for the month, and photos you already downloaded that month aren’t charged again.
Is there a download limit?
Yes: 100 4K photos a month per Pro key and 400 per Agency key, on both the monthly and the yearly plan. With Pro they’re downloaded one at a time, from each photo’s “Download in 4K” button; batch download is Agency only. The count resets on the 1st of each month (00:00 UTC), unused downloads don’t roll over, and My account shows how many you’ve used. Free photos have no limit.
Can I share my key?
With Agency, yes, with your team, within your agency. With Pro, no: it’s for you or your business. That’s why each key has a monthly 4K download limit; if we see unusual use, we may disable it.
How do I cancel or switch plans?
From the customer portal, with the email you paid with. Cancel anytime and your plan runs until the end of the paid period. You can also see your invoices and recover your key there.
Will I get an invoice?
Yes. Payment is processed by Gumroad, acting as reseller: it sends your receipt, issues the invoice and charges your country’s tax when it applies.
